Gardens beautiful NOW; come and see them!

May 04 2011

There are still tulips in bloom here in Skagit Valley in the two gardens, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town. Come and see them—they are almost gone!!!

The gardens are open at 9 am, RoozenGaarde closes at 7 pm; Tulip Town closes at 5:30 pm.

The cost to get into the gardens is $5 per adult per garden; children 10 and under are free at RoozenGaarde, children 16 and under are free at Tulip Town. You can download a map on our website – click on field map from the home page – or the entire brochure – click on brochure from the home page and then click on the picture of the brochure. No dogs are allowed in the gardens.

If you want to come to our office, 311 W Kincaid St. – we can give you directions and suggestions (open Monday-Friday 10 to 4). The addresses for the two display gardens are: (RoozenGaarde) 15867 Beaver Marsh Rd., Mount Vernon, 98273 and (Tulip Town) 15002 Bradshaw Rd., Mount Venron, 98273.

If you need a place to stay, we have a wide variety of lodging choices including the Hotel Planter and Estep Residences in La Conner, Mount Vernon and Pioneer Trails RV parks, and the two hotels at Skagit Valley Casino Resort. After you have a place to stay, start exploring to find your favorite eatery—Nell Thorn in La Conner is an area favorite, and both Skagit River Brewery (barbecue) and Big Scoop are family friendly in Mount Vernon. Of course, Skagit Valley Casino Resort also has lots of dining choices. Have a great trip to our valley.
