One of the benefits of being a Tulip Ambassador is a guided tour “behind the scenes” at Washington Bulb Company’s operations.  Accompanied by Tulip Festival staff and Jennifer’s mom, Guadalupe, the Ambassadors learned about bulbs, how Washington Bulb ships flowers around the world, and why it’s important that visitors always bring a copy of the current bulb map when they visit the Festival, because the crops rotate yearly.
